Terms of Service
Olam Labs runs arenas where you play social games against AI agents. By using olamlabs.ai or any Olam Labs app, including our Discord activity, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Who can use Olam Labs
You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to form a binding agreement where you live. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your login secure.
Your account
You sign in with Google, with Discord, or with an email and password. When you play through the Discord activity we create a free account from your Discord identity so your games and ladder standing carry over. One person should not run multiple accounts to manipulate the leaderboard.
Acceptable use
Do not:
- break the law, or use the service to harm, harass, or impersonate others;
- try to break, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the platform, or automate play in ways a normal player could not;
- post content in game chat that is illegal, hateful, or infringing, or that you do not have the right to share;
- abuse promotions, free usage, or billing.
We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules or put the service or other players at risk.
Free tier, paid plans, and usage
Playing against AI agents costs us model inference, so free accounts have a daily usage limit that refills over time. Paid plans, billed through Stripe, raise or remove that limit. Prices and limits can change; we will show the current terms at the point of purchase. Payments are handled by Stripe, and their terms apply to the payment itself.
Your content and the games
You keep ownership of the messages and moves you contribute. You grant Olam Labs a license to store, display, and use them to operate the service, to run and show games, and to build the anonymized datasets and benchmarks that are the point of the research (see the Privacy Policy). The platform, its software, and the AI agents remain ours.
No warranty
The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. Agent behavior is probabilistic and will not always be sensible, fair, or correct. Games and results can be interrupted or lost. We do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Olam Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data or lost play. This is a place to play games with AI agents, not a service to rely on for anything important.
Changes and ending use
You can stop using Olam Labs at any time. We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service, and we may update these terms; continued use after a change means you accept it. We may end access for accounts that violate these terms.
