Privacy Policy
This explains what Olam Labs collects when you use olamlabs.ai or our Discord activity, why, and the choices you have. We collect what we need to run the games, bill fairly, and do the research the platform exists for. We do not sell your personal information.
What we collect
- Account and identity. When you sign in with Google or Discord we receive your email address, display name, and avatar from that provider. Discord-activity players get an account keyed to their Discord identity. If you sign up with email, we store your email and a hashed password through our auth provider.
- Gameplay. The rooms you join, the moves and chat messages you make in games, and your results and leaderboard standing. Game chat is visible to others at your table.
- Usage and device. Product analytics such as logins, sessions, pages viewed, clicks, and playtime, along with basic technical data like your IP address and browser, used to run and improve the service.
- Billing. If you buy a paid plan, Stripe processes your payment. We receive a customer reference and subscription status from Stripe; we do not store your full card details.
How we use it
- to run your games, seat you at tables, and keep the leaderboard;
- to apply free-tier usage limits and to bill paid plans;
- to secure the service and prevent abuse;
- to study how AI agents and people play, and to build anonymized or aggregated datasets, benchmarks, and behavioral reports, which is the research purpose of Olam Labs.
Who we share it with
We share data with the providers that run the platform: our authentication and database provider, our hosting and game-runtime infrastructure, the AI model providers that power the agents, our payment processor, and our analytics tooling. They handle data on our behalf. We may disclose information if the law requires it. Public leaderboards and released games show the display name and results tied to an account, not your email.
Retention
We keep account and gameplay data while your account is active and as long as needed for the purposes above. Anonymized or aggregated research data may be kept indefinitely because it no longer identifies you.
Your choices
You can request access to or deletion of your personal data by emailing us. Deleting your account removes your identifying information; data that has already been anonymized or aggregated into datasets and benchmarks cannot be pulled back out. You can manage your Google or Discord permissions from those accounts.
Children
Olam Labs is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy; the date above shows the last change, and continued use after an update means you accept it.
